Dream a little (crazy) dream...

Do you ever have weird dreams?
I do.
All. The. Time.
When I'm pregnant they are REALLY messed up...but last night was a doozy too.
(EDIT: NOTE THAT I AM NOT PREGNANT NOW. WE ARE DONE. DONE. DONE. DONE. IN THE PAST WHEN PREGNANT MY DREAMS ARE SUPER MESSED UP-BUT NOT PREGNANT NOW. GOT IT? WHOO. GLAD WE GOT THAT STRAIGHTENED OUT. THAT WAS SCARIER THAN THE DREAM!)
I thought I'd share.
This will be over-sharing.
What can I say...sharing means caring...and I care.
A lot.

This dream starred the following people...
Not the whole group, just the ones my arrows are pointing to.
Except for my pesky brother-in-law Tim.
He was not in my dream, he is just there in the photo.
I just wanted to point out that Ree is not the only one with a pesky brother in law Tim.
And I bet mine is even peskier!
No really. He is.

I also wanted to point out my super cool "peace" belt, that I no longer have...I am sad about that.

Sidetracked.
Again.

Ok, so on to my dream.
It started out with Sara, Melissa and I sitting in lounge chairs outside of our old high school. Okay, so that is weird anyway, right? I haven't been in high school for over 10 years, and I NEVER sat outside it on a lounge chair.

Side note-I was wearing this really awesomely cute dress made out of white ruffle fabric...it kind of looked like a flapper dress...I want to make it someday, because it was seriously cute.

Well we were sitting there in our lounge chairs, me in a cute dress and this guy that went to our high school came up and asked me to dance.

Side note-This guy, let's call him Berek, since that is not at all like his real name ;), went to our school, hung out in our same circle of friends and stuff...but none of my friends ever dated him or even crushed on him that I can remember...and it's not that he wasn't cute...he just dated other girls outside of the before mentioned circle I guess. He just wasn't a big part of my life, didn't leave a real lasting impression on me or anything.
I guess we are Facebook friends now that I look into it. But that's about as deep as our friendship really is.

In my dream, I really wanted to dance in my cute dress-but I didn't want to high school dance-I wanted to Tango. So we tangoed. It was funny. Even in my dream, we were just being silly.
But we weren't half bad.

Side note-In real life-I dance like Elaine on Seinfeld

After we danced our awesome tango, I realized he had metal stitches and tape on his face and kind of looked like this guy, but only on one side of his face.
I asked him why, and he said he just got dental work done.
Oh, well that makes sense then.

Oh yes, this pretty lady here, Suzanne, also made a cameo in my dream.
She came over to me after our dance and said "I am glad I decided not to be a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, because I would have had to kick you off after that number."
Rude huh?
She really isn't rude at all, she actually is a lovely person.

Side note-Although she is an accomplished musician, pianist and vocalist...as much as she might want to...I really don't think they would ask her to be a judge on that show. Sorry Z, just saying.

While I was trying to plead my case to her that we were just being silly, and that if she saw Chad and I dance for real, she would change her mind...
Sara, the one with the long red hair with my pesky brother in law Tim up there, stormed up to me and started biting my head off.
Not really.
That would have been REALLY weird!

She was yelling though at me about dancing with 'Berek', and that I knew that she liked him, and that I was the worst friend in the whole wide world.
I felt really bad.
Because suddenly in my dream I knew that she did like Berek.
I tried to say sorry, and that I had forgotten.
Then she said, "Well we kissed after 7th period last week."
And I said, "I know."
And then she turned to Melissa and yelled at her, "YOU TOLD HER!"
Then they started fighting.

So I walked over to the punch bowl and had some punch.

Then I heard my 3 year old telling me he had to go potty.

That wasn't part of the dream, but that is what got me out of that place.

How about you...anyone had any really weird dreams lately? Anyone want to take a shot at analyzing that one? I would love to hear your take on it! :)

Giveaway! North Star Games Winners Choice!

EDIT: GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNER ANNOUNCED ON JUNE 1ST
Who likes to play games?
Me raising my hand and waving it emphatically!
My hubby and I love to play board games and card games-and we really love us a good party game we can play with other couples that get us laughing.

If you are anything like us then you will love North Star Games.
Grab one of these babies, and a bowl of sweet or salty somethings (or if you're like me get both and mix em'! Pretzel m&m's anyone? Yum!) and you have yourself a party!I had the super fun opportunity to review a couple of their games at a girls night last week, and I have to say that my new favorite party game is Say Anything!Just in case you doubt, let me tell you how to play-the rules are super simple and can really get you laughing and help you see how well you know your friends.

First; one person in the group asks a question off a card such as; "What do I think is the nerdiest job?"

Then everyone takes their color coded mini dry erase boards and writes down an answer that they think the question asking person will like-it can be serious or funny.

I'll just say that a bunch of moms can get pretty darn silly in a game like this! :)
Everyone shows their answers and the person who asked the question chooses their favorite in secret with this spinner and turns it face down.
Then everyone gets a chance to guess which answer the question asker picked, even if it's not their own and whoever places their chips on that answer gets points.

Super easy. Super silly. Super Fun!

We also played the really fun 'trivia' game called Wits & Wagers, luckily you don't need to know the trivia, just be good at guessing and gambling! :)

You bet on the answer you think is closest without going over to win chips. With questions like "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop" you will get some fun conversations going for sure.
We really enjoyed playing both games, and I can't wait to have a game night with a couple of friends so that my hubby can join in the fun this time!

North Star Games has been expanding their line and now has a "Wits & Wagers Family" & "Say Anything Family" and coming out this August "Crappy Birthday"

No! For Real Life!

Sorry I don't have a picture for this, but it made me laugh.

I took the kids to see Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs today (cute flick by the way) and Christopher had a bag of Skittles he was munching on during the movie. He came out with blue and green all over his face, but I didn't say anything-that's not an odd occurance.

On the way home I hear him start to panic.

He says;"Mom, I'm turning clean!"
I say; "Cool Buddy."
He says; "What did you say mom?"
I say; "I said it's cool that you are turning clean buddy."

He lifts up his hands and tries to show my in my rear view mirror...
He says; "NOT CLEAN MOM-GREEN!!!! LOOK AT ME-I'M GREEN FOR REAL LIFE!"

I peed my pants.
Not really, but it was funny, I hope you didn't have to be there, he was really scared he was turning green.

The end.

Things that will make you HA HA!

My kids say H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S. things all the time, but I always forget to write them down...but these are my 2 new favorites from this past week.

Mom: Topher can you come down and help me for a minute?
Christopher: Yes mom, but do you want Christopher or Super-fer?

At this point, I am thinking this kid is super clever for coming up with that, but then this happens...

While at the park the other day for the primary activity an older girl is playing Simon Says with the kids and Topher is just not playing, so the girl is saying "Simon says touch your nose Christopher"...and still he just sits there with a blank look on his face. Bekah goes up to the girl and pats her on the arm real sympathetic like and says;

Bekah: That's okay, he goes to homeschool, he doesn't know anything yet.

Real confidence booster as a homeschool mom for me eh?

"Where'd that Topher go?"

Conversation between Chad and Topher, Saturday morning.

Topher: Dad, what do you want to be when you grow up?

Dad: I want to work in medicine.

Topher: (giggling) No, dad, what do you really want to be when you grow up?

Dad: That is really what I want to do buddy, work in medicine, and work in a hospital.

Topher: Oh. Ask me what I want to be when I grow up.

Dad: Okay , what do you want to be when you grow up?

Topher: A pumpkin!!!

After, Chad related this story to me, while Topher was in ear shot, he came up to me all excited. The conversation that followed, cracked me up.

Mom: So you want to be a pumpkin huh pal? That's awesome!

Topher: Yeah, totally awesome! When bad guys come, I can turn into a pumpkin, and they will say, "Hey where'd that Topher go?" and the other bad guys will say, "I don't know....Hey! I think he turned into a pumpkin!"

Then he laughed a good jolly pumpkin laugh.

Real Boys Wear Pink

I uploaded this to my scrapbook blog, but I thought it was such a cute pic that I needed to post it here too. Chad hates it, but it was so funny watching him playing in this tutu all night. This was all Christopher!
