Making the World Cuter: Tradition...Upgraded

A blog where one woman is on a mission to make the world cuter, one kid, cupcake or crafty thing at a time.

Tradition...Upgraded

So it's that week again...the week of Mothers Day! :)

I know I've left some pretty obvious hints of what I want for the day...and just in case they were too subtle....clean house, no cooking by me, a foot massage, lots of cute kid hugs and smooches, handmade cards, a mommy necklace from The Vintage Pearl and some time with my own mommy.

I know that I probably won't get it all, but I do know that at the very least I will get time with my mom-so I am really excited about that!

I know a lot of you already know my tradition for my mom and my mother in law for Mothers Day every year-but I will share again, and this time I upgraded the end result! :)

Every year I get the kids together and have them hold up these sheets of card stock that I wrote We Love You Grandma on...it started about 5 years ago, so this will be the 5th year they get one of these...now with all 4 kiddo's.
And just so you know...this was the best out of like 20 shots! Grrr...it was cold and it was Easter, all hopped up on sugar and they all wanted to be doing anything but getting their picture taken...whatever, they are all there and they are all looking somewhat cute. Grandmas will swoon, and that's all that matters!

Now for the upgraded part...

I usually just print out a couple 8x10's and send them off in the mail or put them on a photo card...but this year I decided to make it a little more special.

For my own mom, I'm not going to say what I did, because she reads this blog...hi mom! :)

But for my mother in law-(hopefully she won't read this in the next week!) My hubs sent it over to Canvas People and had it printed onto a canvas! How special will that be? I really think she will love it! He had it sent directly to her house, so I won't be able to see it till we make a trip down there again-but I have loved everything they have done so far, so I'm not worried in the least.

And just because I love passing on a good deal...if you haven't gotten your mom anything, or you just want to get yourself something with all of your cute kiddo's on it-they are having an awesome deal right now! You can get a FREE 8x10 or $50 off the purchase of a bigger one. You do still pay shipping, but it is still a great deal and will make such a special gift.

It may not arrive by mothers day...but getting a little something after the day will make the specialness of Mothers Day last just a little longer. And it will definitely make her world a cuter place with those cute kids of yours...or heck it could just be you holding a sign that says "I love you Mom," she will love it, because let's face it, you are pretty dang adorable!
