Did everyone have a cute week?

Now did anyone take on the challenge from last week? To use this inspiration outfit and make it into your own?

Remember, I'm doing these challenges too, and I don't plan on finding something that works for me and then going and finding an inspiration piece to suit me...oh no, I want to be challenged as well!

When I posted this last week, my idea was to go to a thrift store, find some ugly big old lacey thing even if it was a table cloth and make it cuter. Well I searched every thrift store in my little town and nobody had anything lacey....grrrr!

So I decided to make my own lace dress-something I have never done before. I made one and it was adorable, but then I realized I had made it much too small, and there was no stretch! So I gave that to my unbelievably skinny friend and made me a new one.

So I made two dresses this week! I made the second one big, but I like it, because then I can bunch it in the front with a belt or sash.

I added little rosettes to the neckline to bring in the flowers from the cardigan, and wore cowboy boots just to be a little different, though I am now on the lookout for some cute blue flats! :)

I will be sharing how I made this dress on Tuesday, but for now-let's see next week's challenge shall we?

Okay, so this from Ruche's spring look book as well, we just may go through the whole look book since I love it all so much, but need to modify some for modesty sake...but the pictures and the styles are all soooo beautiful! It's easy to get inspiration from such beautiful pictures isn't it?
