Yuba... like Tuba

Thursday we just visited with family and recouped from the 11 hour road trip from the day before-then Friday night our nephew Hayden and his wife asked us if we wanted to go camping up at some property their family has in Yuba and between Chad, Bekah, Topher and me, the vote was 3 to 1 (me being the only skeptical one). So we loaded up the van and drove out to Yuba lake which is not far from where I lived for a couple years in high school. I'm glad we went. The kids had a blast. It was a fun piece of land they had with little cabins on them just for sleeping-with boys and girls showers and bathrooms in the middle. The coolest part was the huge shed filled with everything your little heart could want for camping though. 4 wheelers, fishing stuff, paintball stuff, tubes, kayaks-you name it, it was there. Topher did not want to get off the 4 wheelers not even a little bit.......but we had to, and rather earlier than we would have liked because of these 3 bozo's! (The one's below not above!)

Kaleo-my other nephew, Chad and Hayden. They went out fishing while me, the kids, Hayden's wife and their baby went to bed. They decided to do a little night fishing and come to bed a little later. Well 8, 8:30am rolls around and the sun is shining through our windows and I realize my husband has not come to bed at all. After a few minutes of panicking and hoping he didn't drown in a lake or something-we found these 3 still awake, still fishing and smelling pretty badly of burnt carp. They caught a bunch of fish using MyoMed on their worms (not just for really fast pain relief apparently) most of them carp-so they built a fire-burnt them or beat them with boards and

long.

DUDE. I can't even tell you how boring that sounds to me-it makes me sleepy just typing it now. Sitting around with a fishing pole in your hands all night long-whatever floats your boat I guess!

Anywho-they were all so tired we ended up leaving before noon and they all took naps throughout the day. So Saturday-sort of a wash, we ended up watching a movie that night and that is when Topher's funny little food incident happened-see earlier post...
