Friendly Friday-Smashed Peas & Carrots

Hi everyone! Can, I just say, WOW!!! I am totally thrilled to pieces to be doing a blog swap-a-roo with Tiff. She has such an amazing blog, doesn't she??? I am really excited to be able to introduce myself to you, all her super cool readers (hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, and hi some more!)

My name is Maggie, that's me up there, I run the empire known as Smashed Peas and Carrots...well, actually it's just my blog (and Etsy shop) but one day it'll be an empire or that's what I'd like to think in my head ;) I write about lots of different things on my blog but mainly it's a diary of my life as a momma. I have two little ones, Noah and Penelope, who are usually found hanging onto my legs and one on the way (I'm due in July!) Since I'm pregnant I'm realizing that lots of my posts have lately revolved around food...hmmm, maybe I should slow down in that area so I don't gain 50 pounds with this one! One thing about me is that I LOVE to teach and I actually used to teach Gross Anatomy Cadaver Labs back in the day (total random and weird fact, I know) so the inner teacher in me loves tutorials!!! I have lots of tutorials on my blog...sewing projects, craft projects, projects for the little ones in your life and of course lots of recipes that are kid-approved and super yummy.

Did I also tell you I love to repurpose!?! I am always on the look-out for ways to up-cycle and re-fab my kids clothes. Here is my Little Girls' Shirt to Toddler Dress and Legwarmers Repurpose and Sweater Dress Repurpose.

I also love me some wreaths and deckin' out my front door. Here are two of my latest wreaths, the Clothesline Wreath and the Fabric Rose Wreath.

I think felt play foods are the cutest toys around...can't get enough really! Here are two of some of my felt foods projects I have tutorials for: Cupcake with Frosting and Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream...YUM!

And of course some of my non-felt dessert recipes (did I tell you I was pregnant?), Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles...seriously to die for and my Twix Bar Fake-Out...as good as the real thing, no lie!
