Toot Toot Tuesday-Mothers Day Card-GIVEAWAY from Memory Mixer!!!!

I have a fun giveaway for mothers day this week for you!
Memory Mixer is giving away a HUGE prize package here and there's more!

First let me share my little Mothers Day card idea. I have done this every year for the past 4 years. I made these simple little signs on cardstock with the words "We Love You Grandma" on them-one word on each piece of paper. Then I have the kids hold them and snap away with my camera.
You can see why it might take awhile...
...when you have three cheesy kids, holding signs...
...before you get one that is just right.
I took out the "you" paper this year since there are 3 of them, that way one doesn't have to hold 2 papers, but next year it will be back! :)
It's so fun to see the "same" picture progress each year. The kids get bigger, the location changes, but the signs and the message stay the same.

Usually I just print it as is, and send them to both Grandmas-but this year I got the Fabulous Memory Mixer and decided to design a fun card with the photo.
Memory Mixer is SUPER easy to use, just click and drag-and it comes stock full with REALLY cute papers, embellishments and these fun to use albums that they call QuickMixes.
I whipped this double card up in no time using all their fun stuff.
Printed it out...
...and cut it in half. I am all set with the Mothers Day cards for both Grandma's this year!
I am also working on a fun album in Memory Mixer, that I can't wait to turn into a hard bound book. Memory Mixer can do all sorts of things besides cards, and digi scrapbooking, you can design slide shows, movies and even bring your other digital supplies into the program to use.

Need more fun ideas of what Memory Mixer is capable of? You need to check out The Little Things Blog. She posts ideas that are super fun and easy, with full tutorials, like napkin rings, recipe cards and garden markers.

Want to know what you can win?
I am super excited to tell you...
You can win the Memory Mixer Software valued at $49 (and let me tell you, it is a fantastic deal)
PLUS a $30 gift card to their Shoppe so you can purchase your own Hard Bound Photo Book (or anything else from the shoppe). WOOHOO!!!
  • To enter to win just leave a comment here telling me your favorite Mothers Day memory, gift received or gift given-or better yet, the worst gift ever received or given! :)
  • You can get another entry by following @memorymixer on twitter, and saying hi to them, leave a comment here telling me.
  • You can have another entry by becoming a Fan of Memory Mixer on Facebook, and telling them I sent you, leave a comment here telling me.

AND...My friend Julie from Leelou Blogs has a fun new FREE desktop download using Memory Mixer products-and is giving away more free downloads starting tomorrow for Mothers Day, like cards and notepads-whatever it is, I'm sure it will be super duper cute, because that's the kind of gal she is.

So leave your comments here to enter to win the prize package-then go over and check out the other goods! :)
Have a great day, keep it cute, oh and I love ya!
Giveaway will close Friday 5.7.10 at midnight-winner will be announced sometime this weekend.

  1. Honestly I didn't read this post, just scrolled right down to say your kids photos made me smile today. Especially your baby girl. Thank you I needed that.

  2. I love your blog. Your idea for the mother's day card is darling! The best gifts I've gotten from my kids are the handmade ones. They are always my favorites and I keep them forever!

  3. My best mother's day gift was my first daughter. She was born on mother's day 12 years ago, with five minutes to spare. What a blessing, all of my babies!

  4. My favorite Mother's Day present actually came a month later when I found out that was when I became pregnant with our 1st little girl. :)

  5. Our house burned to the ground a few days before my first Mother's Day. My husband had left his bag for work in the car and in it was a card for me. We had absolutely nothing that year - not a toothbrush or a pair of underwear - but I got a card my husband had thoughtfully picked out for me.

  8. I was so quick to comment on how cute your idea was, I never read to the bottom of the post! One of my favorite memories was when my girls were young and they made me breakfast in bed - and laid a red carpet (a red blanket) next to the bed for me to walk on.

  11. The best gift I've ever gotten on Mother's Day was breakfast in bed and lots of laughter and hugs from my kids and husband.
The worst was the year I spent Mother's Day with My MIL while my husband had his period and ditched me because of a Ridiculous and meaningless argument.
Ha! yeah, same guy;) Gotta love my brood!

  17. Ooh, put me in that drawing! My favorite mother's day gift was a bathrobe from my hubby the year we got married. I wear it every day (I'm even wearing it right now!)

  18. The year after our twins were born (they were getting close to 1 and it for sure was the hardest year of my life) my husband gave me a day off. He would take the day off work and I could leave and do whatever I wanted all day long. I cried and cried. Feeding twins was a full time job and our oldest had started Kindergarten that year. Its still my favorite gift to get, but I will always always remember the love I felt from that first gift!

  19. My favorite Mothers Day gifts are when my kids give me pennies taped in my homemade cards, those are the best riches in the world. I would love that memory mixer. I'm new at digital photography and that looks way easy to use.

  23. There have been a lot of posts on facebook about mommies worring that daddys are going to forget Mother's day...so this year i made stamped washer necklaces for everyone and sent them out..that way no one feels forgotten on Mother's day. I ran out of washers though before i had a chance to make myself one. don. haha. I am only two mother's days in so i havnt gotten anything terrible yet.
